About Sue Spence: Founder Horses Helping Humans Australia

Meet Sue, the heart and soul behind Horses Helping Humans Australia, a program that combines her deep love for horses and her passion for helping others. With over 20 years of experience in Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and a lifetime of Equestrian experience, Sue has dedicated her life to creating a safe and supportive environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can experience the life-changing benefits of EAL.

Sue's journey with horses began decades ago, where she quickly discovered their remarkable ability to connect with people on a deeper level. Having been diagnosed with both autism level 2 and ADHD as an adult it made it very clear to Sue why horses were so important to her growing up to help her with the many challenges she faced. Recognising their potential to aid in emotional, social, and physical growth, she founded Horses Helping Humans Australia, aiming to offer a unique space for healing, learning, and personal development.

Through the program, Sue focuses on working closely with individuals from our most at-risk communities, providing tailored experiences that foster confidence, communication, and connection. Her vision is to make Equine Assisted Learning accessible to everyone, creating a positive impact on participants and their families.

Under Sue's guidance, Horses Helping Humans has grown into a trusted name in the field, known for its commitment to safety, compassion, and excellence. Whether you're seeking support, a new way to connect with horses, or simply a space to grow, Sue and her team are here to guide you every step of the way.
